Social proof is an effective marketing tool, and simply telling neighbors that one of their own has chosen your company for a particular service or product does wonders for your lead generation and sales. MYM has developed a marketing campaign to help you capture business in the areas that you are already working in. That's right. If you're replacing windows in one home, why shouldn't you target the neighbors' windows? It only makes sense, right?
Read below to understand MYM's robust 9-Step Campaign.
Step 1 Proximity Campaign Marketing Tool:
Because you will expect a lot from your homeowner and client during this marketing campaign, MYM has developed a handy marketing tool that will explain step-by-step how the process works. Your client will know how long to expect the jobsite sign to remain in their yard, and they will understand why and how they need to write a testimonial letter. Let us explain your tactics to your client.
Step 2 Jobsite Sign:
When you're doing a good job, let the neighborhood know. Jobsite signs are effective in branding your jobsite as well as evoking social proof to drivers-by. Most proximity marketing campaigns stop here. Ours has 7 more steps.
Step 3 Take-One Flyers:
A jobsite sign isn't enough to answer every question a potential customer might have when he/she passes by. True to MYM's education and low-risk offer guidelines, we will create and design flyers that passers-by can grab from right next to the jobsite sign. Some proximity campaigns go this far, but MYM has 6 more steps.
Step 4 Radial Postcards:
A series of 3 postcards will be mailed out to area neighbors from 125 up to a recommended 250 neighbors. The postcards are variable data printed which means that your initial client's name will be on every one. Talk about using social proof. This step also hits all of the neighbors who never passed by your jobsite. Only 4 steps into the 9 steps, and MYM's covering the entire neighborhood.
Step 5 Check Mailer:
Sometimes the best incentive to go forward with a decision is money. Our proximity marketing campaign does not neglect this method of persuasion. After warming the neighborhood with radial cards and jobsite information, MYM will send out a check mailer to everyone. You will probably be receiving enough calls by step 5, but we have 4 more steps.
Step 6 Testimonial:
Your client is your best advertisement. Let him/her sing your praises. Utilizing his/her testimonial, you can take advantage of social proof and benefit from the good things your client has to say. Their neighbors won't have to just trust anymore; one of their own approves you. Have you ever used a testimonial so effectively? Usually testimonials are buried on websites or in prepositioning kits. This hot-off-the-press testimonial will convert more leads than you'll believe. And we still have 3 more steps.
Step 7 Telemarketing:
Telemarketing is one of the few marketing devices that allow a live person to interact with your prospects. Now that your prospects have been converted from cold into warm leads with 6 steps of the proximity marketing campaign, they are primed for a call. MYM will help you develop scripts to best convert these leads. If we don't get the sale yet, we still have 2 more steps.
Step 8 Door-to-Door:
Unlike traditional door-to-door canvassing, you'll just need one person to knock on these doors. He/she will be able to quickly convert leads into appointments because so much of the work has been done for him/her. Imagine, these neighbors have received 5-6 mailers and flyers and took a telemarketer's call. A canvasser can field all of the questions are campaign as led the prospects into asking. And if no one's at the door, we have one last step.
Step 9 Door Hangers:
If our canvasser couldn't reach the neighbors at home, we will take the opportunity to leave one last marketing piece - a door hanger.
How could you not convert leads into sales with this robust marketing campaign? Neighborhoods will be lining up for your services or products.
