About the Opportunity Lake O’Hara Lodge is seeking a Chef or Sous Chef for the 2026 season — an opportunity to live and cook in one of Canada’s most breathtaking alpine settings. What Makes This Role Unique Lead and work closely with a kitchen team of six staff, fostering teamwork, learning, and a positive daily rhythm Opportunity to develop and execute a two-week rotating menu A small, supportive workplace where team culture and leadership matter more than ego or intensity Remote, peaceful setting in the account Full on-site living: private accommodation and all meals provided Schedule: 6 days on / 1 day off throughout the season Deep connection with a community in a unique, intentional environment Responsibilities Lead or support daily kitchen operations in a remote lodge setting Execute a consistent, creative rotating menu that suits our guest expectations Prepare high-quality breakfasts, lunches, baked goods, and plated dinners Manage ordering, inventory, and food costs Ensure a clean, organized, safe kitchen environment Support and guide a team of six kitchen staff through mentorship and clear structure
