About Us
Precision Construction Components Inc. (PCC) is a fast-growing manufacturer of high-performance prefabricated construction components, including wall panels, floor systems, and stair assemblies. Based in Mt. Herbert, PEI, we provide innovative building solutions that streamline on-site construction and raise industry standards.
We’re looking for a driven and experienced Production Manager to lead our production team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our factory. If you're passionate about efficient manufacturing, high-quality construction, and leadership in a growing company, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production of prefabricated panels, including scheduling, coordination, and quality control
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of production staff to meet output and safety goals
- Collaborate with design, logistics, and site teams to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Implement and improve production processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for material availability
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility that meets regulatory requirements
- Track production KPIs and report on performance to senior management
- Ensure proper maintenance and operation of tools, machines, and equipment
- Support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or construction-related production leadership role
- Strong understanding of wood framing and building practices (Section 9 – NBC experience an asset)
- Familiarity with prefabricated construction processes, materials, and machinery
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and shop drawings
- Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
- Comfortable using digital tools (e.g., production software, Microsoft Office, inventory tracking)
- Forklift certification and safety training an asset
- Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required
